The Elevator

We’re in an elevator in downtown Nashville, and I’m wearing a hoodie with a Harrell Media Group logo on the front. You’re the curious type and you ask me, “Hey, what’s HMG?” First, I’m impressed with your courage to engage with a complete stranger.

Second, I clear my throat and say something like, “We started our lean and efficient company (that’s a normal way of saying Boutique firm) to share our Branding, Leadership and Talent development experience with organizations and individuals who want insight and guidance beyond the obvious.

“You’re familiar with the term Less is More? We think that’s a good axiom. However, we’re strong supporters of More is More…if it’s the right more. When we find it, we have to make decisions about what is causing that storyline to be subdued or ineffective. So, we help you find the right story and Reduce The Noise To Increase The Volume to make sure that story is seen and heard.”

Our No Copy & Paste Policy

Great teams run great plays for great results

We champion the need for finding successful results and executing those best practices through focused discipline. Focus & Grind is a term you’ll hear us use when we’re problem-solving a tough situation.

However, another term we like is No Copy & Paste. Some practices, tactics and strategies have universal appeal—but not everything. (Sidebar: We apologize for using the em dash on this website. It’s the only time you’ll see it. But we felt it was the best use in that sentence.)

No Copy & Paste means you won’t get analysis and input that we simply copied and pasted from another client’s project. That’s because we respect the differences in your brand and marketplace. We listen, view, watch, scratch our heads and repeat until we find unique solutions for your success.

Hey, it would be a lot easier for us if we simply did the same thing for everyone. But as we strive to find your marketable differences, we think it’s a good idea to show you one of ours: No Copy & Paste
