March of Ideas 2026!

The bracket is set for our favorite sports tournament: March #$%^&**!

(We didn’t use the legal name, fearing the heavily fortified legal team from that college organization)

This year’s ideas are inspired by radio promotion and marketing’s best friend: Alliteration. The idea of being mad in March has created hundreds of content and sales opportunities. We’re adding 14 new ideas you can incubate and get a head start on 2027’s promotional calendar.

The bracket, one-sided because the two-sided version looked cramped, suggests the winning team advances. However, when you look at the bracket, you’ll notice all the ideas are different. Everyone’s a winner. Yes, we have a Millennial on our creative staff.

Below the bracket, you’ll find the categories and explanations of the ideas. Also, as a bonus, the bracket is available as a downloadable PDF after the descriptions.

Modern & Tech-Focused
  • March Makers: Celebrate creators, innovators and DIY enthusiasts. “Make it” what you want.
  • March Machines: AI. Maybe you’ve heard of it? There’s a startup looking for a promotion.
  • March Metaverse: Partner with a college technology school to create a scholarship.
Creative & Artsy
  • March Masterpiece: The name is broad. Art, creativity and excellence are good themes.
  • March Murals: Potential to bring high schools, colleges and local artists together.
  • March Muses: We like the name, but it’s an exploration of inspiration and creativity.
Business & Marketing
  • March Marketing: Be a clearinghouse for local marketers to showcase their campaigns.
  • March Moguls: Highlight your community’s movers and leaders.
  • March Mergers: Another name we like, but you could have fun with this one.
Community & Social Good
  • March Meaning: A purpose-driven theme focused on social impact and making a difference.
  • March Mentors: Celebrate the power of guidance and mentoring. Highlight local mentors.
  • March Mission 2.0: A sequel to 2025’s “March Mission.” We wanted something with 2.0.
Music and Content
  • March Mainstage: Every music format does a “battle of the bands.” This one is in March.
  • March Mashup: Everyone is a content creator. Find the great audio creators. Then, hire them.

Bring the minds together to discuss the opportunities. We recommend you provide pizza during the creative sessions. As always, reach out if we can help you expand and monetize these ideas.

Here’s the bracket in a PDF form.
